Description

A rare find with some very interesting history. This bottle was released by WA Scott family grocers, Kilkee, Co Clare in the 1950s. The bottle is in excellent condition and appears to be a 3-piece moulded quart size. This comes with the original bill of sale from Bagots Hutton and Kinahan ltd who must have provided the mature stock in 1953. The sum of the sale amounts to 14 pounds, 7 shillings and 6 pence! A very nice bottle from the old era of Jameson when the whiskey was distilled in Smithfield, Dublin.
