From the cooley distillery, Greenore gets its name from the greenore port which is just down the road from the Distillery. I believe this is one of the first single-grain whiskeys produced in Ireland. This is an 8-year-old whiskey aged in First fill bourbon barrels giving its sweeter notes with the rich oaky tones. We have made some strides in single grain whiskies since but we definitely started high.
