Badia a Coltibuono estate in the Chianti Classico commune of Gaiole in Chianti is led by the fifth generation of family members: Emanuela, Paolo, and Roberto Stucchi Prinetti. There are 150 acres of vineyards on the property, along with another 50 acres of olive trees.This expression is deep ruby red in color. The nose is packed with berry fruit and floral overtones harmoniously blending spicy, toasted vanilla scents from the wood. On the palate, the wine is rich and full bodied with good acidity and a pleasantly lingering finish. Recommended with roasted meat and game, particularly pheasant. Excellent with aged cheeses.
