The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. This bottle is a single-estate Vintage Port from Delaforce's vineyards at Quinta Da Corte. 1978 vintage, bottled in 1980.
