The first release in the Estate Series and the final release by Noel Sweeney as Master Distiller of Powerscourt Distillery. Distilled from corn and malt, this grain whiskey was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Amarone casks. A careful blend of barrels from 2010, 2011, and 2012, each included in equal measure, has created a spirit of remarkable balance. The influence of bourbon, oak, and Amarone intertwine to produce a mellow whiskey that showcases harmony, depth, and finesse.
