An unusual bottling from Germany. It was lying in bond in Scotland for a number of years when it was exported by A.D.P. Exports to Germany. It was imported into Munich, Germany by Mootz Import and 16 casks were vatted and bottled on the 30th March 1972 to produce this whiskey. The origins of this whiskey are unknown, but it may have been distilled by DWD at the Jones Road Distillery. It is at least 24 years old and was distilled no later than 1948 and most likely pure pot still sherry cask in style. On the neck is a recipe for an Irish coffee showing the appreciation of mature Irish whiskey.
