A rather confusing single malt that came from either Bushmills or Cooley Distilleries. It has been matured in a sherry hogshead for over 15 years which makes it more likely to have been sourced from Bushmills.
However the back label mentions that it-
“started its journey near the Northern Irish border…the style of whiskey is like one of a Dublin distillery which as closed for a long time ago (sic) and opened again recently. This pot still whiskey is still true to the flavours an styles of the best Irish distilling traditions.”
Just 284 bottles were released. Condition is excellent.
