Glen Flagler was a short lived distillery that was once housed in the Moffat complex of distilling nestled between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Malt whisky was only made there from 1965-1985 and most of it was used for blending purposes. Some bottlings such as this one could contain both Glen Flagler single malt plus malt whisky from other distilleries. The expression ‘pure malt’ in place of ‘single malt’ would suggest this but in reality it is almost impossible to tell. Nonetheless this is still a highly collectable whisky!
