Description
The Dingle Celt is an extremely rare bottling from a single cask of Dingle Single Malt. Situated on the shores of Dingle Bay, County Kerry, Dingle Distillery produces some of the most sought after Irish Whiskey. The whiskey is triple distilled, unpeated single malt that was fully matured in a 50 litre Chestnut Caratelli that previously aged Vin Santo dessert wine from Altesino who are one of Italy’s finest estates. The Dingle Celt Irish Whiskey was distilled at the Dingle Distillery on 23rd May 2015 and bottled by Celtic Whiskey at cask strength on 6th December 2018. We can only suggest that this was the favourite cask of the Dingle angels as a mere 18 bottles remained at the time of bottling! We think this whiskey is outstanding despite its youth and shows the immense potential of future Dingle whiskey bottlings.
At least €100 from each bottle will be donated to the Kerry Parents & Friends Association (KPFA) which supports families of people with intellectual disabilities by providing Residential and Day Services together with Respite and Home Support.
This is bottle number 8 of 18. Each bottle comes with a solid glass decanter style stopper and a high quality wooden presentation box.
