Bottled by Douglas Laing- Scottish Independent Bottlers. Incredibly this was distilled in 1943 and was bottled at 42 years old. There is no declaration of bottling strength so perhaps it was taken from cask shortly before the strength dropped below the legal 40%. Unfortunately it is not possible to gain any information on the distillery this was made at, even Douglas Laing are unsure- Jones’ Road Distillery Dublin is a possible source. Just 37 decanters where produced and this comes with the original box and the crystal stopper. Condition is good for the age.
