A rare and exceptional vintage single malt from the Scapa Distillery, distilled in December 1982 and matured for over 22 years in a single Amontillado sherry cask (#550). Bottled in March 2005 at natural cask strength (57.9% ABV) by independent bottler Ian MacLeod as part of the Chieftain’s Choice Limited Edition Single Cask Series. Non-chill filtered and free of added colour, only 582 bottles were released. This is a distinctive piece of whisky history from the Orkney Islands. An outstanding choice for collectors, connoisseurs, and lovers of old, sherry-matured Scotch.
